About Us

The idea for Beast's Pantry started right after our location at Emporium Marketplace was forced to close. Once you get the taste of a "brick and mortar" shop, that craving never goes away. So we waited until we felt the right opportunity presented itself. Well on July 4th, the opportunity came in the form of a vacated cow milking building on a forgotten farm in Campbell Hall. The property was old and run down, the building was abandoned and in pretty bad shape, but I had a vision......

Well it took three months of gutting and rebuilding but the vision of Beast's Pantry is finally a reality. 

Beast's Pantry is a specialty grocery store that offers locally sourced and created, shelf stable food items. Over the last three years of working the farmers market circuit, I felt that many small makers "hibernate" for the winter because indoor winter markets are scarce and outdoor winter markets are brutally cold here in the Hudson Valley. Beast's Pantry is a way to connect the local market customer with the local market maker all year-round. 

We decided to do something a little different and dedicate 30 linear feet of shelf space that will be solely dedicated to HOT SAUCE!

Our "Wall of Flame" will feature hot sauces from not only local makers but also small batch makers from all over the United States!!!

So all you "Hot Heads" can get your fix at the Pantry. 

We strive to support small local farmer and entrepreneurs by giving them a place to showcase their products and support the local community by creating a cozy atmosphere to shop year-round for their local favorites.
